Gavy Kessler

Gavy Kessler is a theater education, scholar, director and performer. Gavy enjoys crafting challenging performances that encourage self-discovery and allow young actors to step into their power. He has worked as an arts administrator in New York City, a performance artist in Los Angeles, and is currently the Theater Director at the Putney School. He has his B.S. in Educational Theater and his M.A. in Performance Studies from NYU and his Ph.D. in drama from UC Irvine. Gavy has been seen locally with Main Street Arts and Wild Goose Players in Jesus Christ Superstar, Equus, Charles Henry's Final Curtain, Chicago, The Secret Garden, Into the Woods, A Little Night Music and Fiddler on the Roof.
