HERE ARE A FEW QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE FOR US:

How do I get my child in a show at NEYT?
Registration for Junior company projects is online. You can also call or email the front office for assistance. Auditions for Senior company shows are held in March, June, and December. See our Mainstage Productions page for more information – or call us today.

What if I can’t afford NEYT?
We are committed to working with you to make participation in our programs possible for anyone who wishes. Our financial aid program Angels In the Wings is easy to apply for and payment plans are available. Call or email us now. 

Are there shows we do not have to audition for?
Yes! Many of our production projects are by registration. For more information, check out the Mainstage Programs page.

If my child does want to audition for a show how can we get help figuring out how the audition process works?
Contact us! Let us de-mystify the process! We can also put you in touch with members of our NEYT community who can assist. We hold audition workshops prior to our mixed age program auditions to help students prepare.

Who can we talk with about recommendations for classes?
Call or email the front office. We will put you in touch with someone who can help you with your choices.

What is expected of me as a parent if my child is in a show?
There is much information in our handbook about how to support your child during their time here at NEYT. Please feel free to reach out to us by phone or email as well. We’d love to speak with you.

Are there different levels of participation? One day a week? five days a week?
Yes! We offer programs with a wide variety of time commitments. Call or email us for more information - or check out the information in “Our Programs” for a listing of programs.
