Why are we on cloud nine at New England Youth Theatre this spring? Because we’re looking forward to our biggest summer of all time! More camps, more performances, and more opportunities to get involved than ever before, whether onstage, behind the scenes, or in the audience. We’ve got two brand-spanking-new Melodramas, written and directed by all-star NEYT alumni; full productions of Chicago: Teen Edition and Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night; the return of Kelindah Bee with their instant classic Drag Camp; as well as plenty of costuming, building, and theatre tech programs to make sure all those shows look fabulous.
What could possibly make this summer even better? If we were packed to the gills with exactly as many students as we’re able to accommodate. That’s where you come in! Your gift to NEYT helps ensure that we are able to make financial support available to as many families as possible. There are plenty of reasons families in our community and all over the country are tightening their budgets this year. That shouldn’t stop any student from being able to unlock the confidence and comradeship that come with a summer spent collaborating with friends and mentors to tell incredible stories onstage.
We have so much to look forward to in 2025: touring an original show; expanding our slate of classes and workshops; even unveiling a new signature event that’s really aiming for the stars… NEYT’s momentum and potential to change youth’s lives continues to hit new heights every day.
