Why Donate? Because you believe in our mission to foster the growth of young people through the practice of theatre arts in a welcoming, youth-centered community. Because you share our desire for young people to discover the confidence and skills they need to be active participants in creating healthy communities. Because you want to ensure NEYT continues to thrive for years to come!

NEYT is committed to keeping our programs accessible to anyone who wishes to attend. We never turn away a family because of financial need. In 2024 NEYT served over 400 youth in NEYT performance and educational programs. Our programs help students develop confidence, leadership, creativity, team building skills, technical skills, oratory skills, and relationships with their peers.

We depend on grants and the generosity of friends and supporters to provide this artistic home. Tuition and ticket sales cover only a small portion of our operating costs – less than 35%. This means every contribution counts. Every dollar, volunteer hour, and in-kind gift of goods is deeply appreciated and directly supports the work and play of our young people. We are honored to receive donations of any size from our stakeholder groups. No gift is too small to be greatly appreciated.

Your gift supports youth theater, arts education and most importantly, maintains a beloved and accepting home-away-from-home for the youth of Southern Vermont!

In 2024…

NEYT will be tackling some much-needed upgrades and repairs to our physical space.

Thanks to grants from the Canaday Family Trust and The Vermont Arts Council, we’ll be replacing our seating and rebuilding an expanded stage, increasing both safety and comfort for audiences and performers alike!

In the spirit of celebrating this upgrade to our space we have a small gift for you.

We have created a “toy theater” that you can color and assemble. Look closely, and you’ll see that the drawings contain callbacks to our 2023 season and references to the upcoming season.
