Daniel McNamara
Daniel McNamara is an interdisciplinary theatre and performance artist who currently lives in a cabin in the woods in Southern Vermont. His most recent projects include Creative Director of the Burning of the FireFish at the Firefish festival in Lorain, Ohio, Musical Director and Composer for Ohio City Theatre Project’s Central Concern at BorderLite Fringe Festival in Cleveland, OH, and being an auxiliary member of the Buoyant Heart artists collective in Brattleboro, Vermont. From 2005-2010 Daniel was a resident company member and musical director of Bread and Puppet Theater in Glover, VT, with tours to Italy, Germany, Ireland, Taiwan, Venezuela, New Orleans, New York City, Boston and more. In 2010 he co-founded the Possibilitarian Puppet Theater in Cleveland OH - also with national and international tours until 2014. In August of 2017 he received a fully funded Masters of Creative Process from the innovative and experimental educational program “Uversity”, a project of the National University of Ireland. Aside from his artistic and musical pursuits, he works with Inner Fire, a residential community in Brookline, VT offering his creative practice in support of residents healing journeys.
