Shannon Ward

Shannon Ward is a teaching artist, actor, and NEYT alumna. She holds a BA in English with a minor in Theater from the University of Vermont. After graduating in 2013 she toured educational theater programs to schools around the northeast. She then became an elementary school teacher in the WSESU, and taught after-school theater and knitting programs in the district. Shannon is now a co-manager of the Hooker-Dunham Theater and Gallery and a producer and actor with the Vermont Suitcase Company. She has directed at NEYT many times, including Melodrama Summer Camp, Town School Theater, Fall One-Acts and The Hobbit. Shannon is thrilled to be taking on this role at NEYT, a theater and community that she cares deeply about.
