Rosa Palmeri

Rosa Palmeri is a classically trained actor with a BFA from the University of Evansville and an MFA from The American Conservatory Theater. Rosa also writes, teaches, directs, paints scenery, and makes puppets and, when she gets antsy, will simply hop a train back to Vermont to direct a Commedia version of The Emperor’s New Clothes. She has created many of her own pieces, including a round of two-person Shakespeare adaptations—Twelfth Night by Two (Edinburgh Fringe Festival), and Shrew by Two—and a one-woman clown show, The Deluge and Stuff. She has extensive clown training with Avner Eisenberg, Julie Goell, Stephen Buescher, Michael Toomey, Gabriel Levey, Bill Irwin, and David Shiner.
