Amy Majer

Amy Majer graduated from Eckerd College in 1994 with a BA in Theater. In a previous life, she performed in professional and community theaters in the Tampa Bay Area. She teaches acting and performance to children and is actively involved in the performing arts enrichment programs at Academy School, where she has also been the School Nurse since 2009. Amy has been working with young actors at NEYT since 2013 in the Page to Stage, Brave Young Vaudevillians, Town Schools Theater, and Melodrama programs. She works in script development and assists several veteran directors at NEYT. "All the best people, really." She is often spotted hard at work creating fabulous Edwardian hairstyles, costuming, makeup or even building giant dragon puppets. "Finding New England Youth Theatre has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I'm so grateful to be along for the ride!"
