New England Youth Theatre Celebrates 25th Anniversary with a Festive Holiday Production of Oliver!

[Brattleboro, VT] – [November 19, 2024] – New England Youth Theatre (NEYT) is thrilled to celebrate its 25th anniversary with a spectacular holiday performance of the beloved musical Oliver! by Lionel Bart. Featuring an extraordinary ensemble cast and showcasing the newly renovated stage, this production will delight audiences of all ages as it brings the streets of Victorian England to life.

Oliver! tells the timeless story of Oliver Twist, a young orphan who, after escaping a grim workhouse, finds himself amidst a group of pickpockets led by the charming yet devious Fagin. As Oliver navigates his journey from hardship to hope, he uncovers the warmth and love of a family he never thought possible. The musical features unforgettable characters and iconic songs such as “Food, Glorious Food,” “Consider Yourself,” and “As Long As He Needs Me.” 

Directed by Rebecca Waxman, this production marks the first holiday musical at NEYT to be performed on its newly renovated stage. With a new, versatile design, the theatre is now able to create a dynamic and immersive audience experience, elevating the magic of Oliver! to new heights.

Performances will run from December 6-8 and December 13-15, 2024. Tickets are available now. The full performance schedule is as follows:
