...Our Voices...

NEYT’s Theatre Adventure presents:
"Raising Our Voices Together"

April 10 and 11 at 10:30 am
April 12 at 7 pm
at the West Village Meeting House
29 South Street, West Brattleboro

Sponsored by Green River and
Community Bank, N.A.

Raising Our Voices Together is an original musical. The
songs, written by Rich Nethercott, celebrate Theatre
Adventure actors and their relationships and engagement in
their community. Passionate and dedicated both on and off
stage, the twenty-one actors sing, dance, and perform from
the heart about work, love, and friendship.

Here I am – nothing can hold me,
back from my dreams;
sometimes it seems, I’ve only just begun.

Commanding the stage with great flair, the Troupe along
with Rich Nethercott on guitar and Cathy Martin on piano
inspires toe-tapping, dancing and singing!  Outstanding
performances by all of the actors in stunning costumes
created by Lori Angell will produce an impressive
theatrical production.

Here I am, ready and willing
to claim my place
out in the world.

Theatre Adventure productions are developed in
collaboration with the actors. The actors’ artistry and
individuality inform our work. We hope to inspire new
thinking about differences to help build a stronger spirit of
connection and acceptance in our community.

Here I am – I won’t surrender
to doubt and fear; I’ll persevere.
My victory flag unfurled.

People of all abilities are welcome in the audiences of all
Theatre Adventure performances. ASL interpreting is
provided for all performances and the venue is wheelchair
accessible.

In order to honor audience members with special sensory
needs, each performance is Sensory-Friendly. Before the
show begins, the Director will talk about the lights, sounds,
costumes, and characters of the play in order to support the
comfort level of audience members. A break room will be
provided if needed for any audience member, and a social
story is available before the performance, upon request.
Dynamic theater opportunities for actors and audience
members with developmental challenges is alive and well
in the tri-state region!

Here we are, rising up together – we are fearless,
yes, we are strong.

We’ll make it through all kinds of weather.
Here we stand, hand in hand – Listen to our song.
