The Theatre Adventure program once again presents glitter, glamour, and theatrical treats galore during its annual Putting On Our Finery fundraiser. This talented troupe of actors—with and without disabilities—are renowned in the region for wowing their audiences! With great flair and style, they will transform West Village Meeting House into a showcase of Shakespearean characters from “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
The evening will include live music, fabulous fashions, Brattleboro radio personality “Fish,” glamorously costumed dancer Alfred, fashionista Stasia of Stasia’s Style School, beautiful hair styles by Lisa Shippee of Scissor Masters., a dazzling array of delectable desserts, and a few wild and zany surprises. Audience members are invited to attend in their own splashy finery. Putting On Our Finery offers a unique experience. Come be part of this fashionable, lively, and rollicking event, and support the region’s only inclusive theater program, celebrating its 13th Anniversary this season. Theatre Adventure actors, with and without disabilities, create theater that turns traditional roles upside down, presents a fresh take on familiar stories, and challenges audiences to open their thinking about differences..
Tickets are $15, $25, $50—your choice in support of NEYT’s inclusive Theater Adventure Program. The ticket price include s admission and an array of fine desserts. If you are unable to attend, please consider making a donation by purchasing a ticket to the event.
