Charity Hope Valentine is a hopelessly romantic but comically unfortunate dance hall hostess in New York City looking for love. Inspired by Federico Fellini’s Nights of Cabiria, this show boasts a groovy mid-60s score by Cy Coleman, sparkling lyrics by Dorothy Fields, and a hilarious book by Neil Simon.

"Too Many Heroes"

Jess is tired of all these superheroes. Ever since SuperCorp developed a pill that gives everyone special powers, it seems like nobody is willing to let Jess figure out her life her own way. Her Mom and Dad aren't the flawed, loving parents she remembers, her best friend has betrayed her and her sister is a pig... an actual pig. In a world where everyone is a superhero, it looks like Jess will have to save herself.

Aulularia means 'a pot of gold’,
The title of a Roman play of old.
In that play, there's just a little bit of cash,
In this version there's a much larger stash!
The title should convey this kind of wealth,
Especially when the Miser hides it with such stealth.
He will not spend a single cent in town
And this has caused the rest of us to drown!
Aulularia doesn’t fit this play,
But, Alululululularia: The Sound Of Doomsday.
