Scott Brown
I started volunteering at NEYT so I could see the plays for free. Now I’m here every day for a few minutes or a few hours to help in any way.
I went to a little red schoolhouse for my early education. Even after a new school was built the first senior class only had 5 graduates.
Even though my mom was in show biz and was always bugging me to take dance lessons, I was much too shy. Since I’ve arrived at NEYT I see how different and wonderful each of these uninhibited young people are. Every play that is cast becomes a circle of friends. I’m truly in awe.
Scott is one of NEYT’s most devoted staff volunteers. He is willing to help anywhere he is needed: putting up stage lights, buffing and mopping the floor, painting sets, organizing the prop barn, taking down sets and much general clean up and organization around the theater. Scott is an upbeat positive presence at NEYT always good for a laugh and a smile.
