Hi, my name is Taylor. My first show at this theatre was in the summer of 2005. Since then, I have been in eight shows. Those shows are: (in order) Deadwood Dick, Sound of Music, Winnie-the-Pooh, Little Women, Murder by Indecision, As You Like It, Miracle Worker and Oliver. But before I get in to those, let me tell you how it all began. I first found this theatre in early 2005, when I took two classes with Stephen Stearns. Then, my mom signe me up for the Melodrama Camp. That brings me to Deadwood Dick. I played the villian, Blackman Redburn. This play was a western where two girls are in trouble because all of the villians in the Black Hills wants their family fortune. The next play that I was in was The Sound of Music. I played Franz the Butler, Baron Elberfeld and Admiral von Schrieber. You probably already know that story. Next was Winnie-the-Pooh. I played the Owl. This play was a bunch of Winnie-the-Pooh stories put together. The next shows that I was in were Little Women, Murder by Indecision, As You Like It, Miracle Worker and Oliver. I really enjoy NEYT and I plan to stay here as long as I can. NEYT has given me more confidence to get me on stage. I love NEYT and the experience here will remain in me for the rest of my life.
