Cassidy Majer

Cassidy (she/her) is a local artist who was born and raised in Brattleboro, VT. Graduating High School in 2022, she has continued her work to theater, teaching and taking classes, directing shows, and you guessed it, acting in shows!

Cassidy is an alumni at NEYT. She was 10 years old when she did her first show, ‘Ms. Twiggly’s Tree.’ Since then she has always been involved at the theatre, as an actor, director, choreographer, hair & makeup artist, costumer, set builder, anything you can think of, Cassidy has probably done at NEYT. Cassidy joined the Mentor Program quite young and participated in Mentor Days, Cabarets, and Meetings, even hosting a community night bringing in lots of pasta and improv games!

Cassidy has studied musical theater, participated in Musical Theater Intensives, dance classes, singing classes and being in Musicals. As well as learning the art of Clown and Commedia, and Improv along side her teachers, now turned pals and coworkers.

While Cassidy teaches at NEYT, she also teaches along side fellow alums at Leland and Gray Middle/High School. Cassidy has dabbled in many theater companies such as Main Street Arts, The Wild Goose Players, Vermont Suitcase, Vermont Theater Company, The Hooker-Dunham Theater & Gallery, The Guilford Center Stage, and Next Stage. Cassidy is also a current student at Celebration Barn Theater in South Paris Maine, training in Eccentric Performance with Avner “The Eccentric” Eisenburg.

All of Cassidy’s accomplishments have been in collaboration and supported by Amy Majer, Sandy Klein, Stephen & Bonnie Stearns, Peter Gould, Rebecca Waxman, Avner Eisenburg, David Stern, Micheal Nethercott, Kaelan & Aja Broad, Phil “Skippy” Adams, fellow NEYT Alumns and Teachers, and of course her biggest supporters, her family!
